The Liebermans!!!

Amaya, Michael and I welcomed Melissa and her husband Eric for CMA Fest.  We had a blast!!! On Friday night we went to LP Field for concerts...on Saturday night we hit the bars for some Nashvillian fun...and a few games of darts =) Hard to believe, but Melissa and Erica won the BIG game for H.O.T.B. (if you don't know what that means...inquire w/Michael). Amaya had fun with her Nana and grandpa both nights.

ExerSaucin'

Amaya is an ExerSaucin' baby.  She enjoys working out...just like her momma =)  Nana thought it might be time to get her into it-boy was she right. Amaya really likes turning and grabbing onto the animals.  She is grabbing at things and pulling the animals down in her bouncer-not to mention pulling my hair. She no longer can pull at her daddy's hair because he chopped it all off. For those of you who got to see him in person, I think it was a once-in-a-lifetime chance.
PS-how cute are those cheeks!!

Great Friends!

Wow the past two weeks have been filled with fun, laughter, and lots of love. Emily and Alicia (two of Erica's best friends) came to visit. Emily announced her engagement and Alicia announced her 2nd pregnancy. It was so wonderful to have them here and to meet Amaya.  We could not believe how quickly life has passed and it was so much fun reminiscing about all of the years we have been friends.  I am so blessed to have such great friendships!

Hello Cincinnati!

Leaving the House-Amaya's silent display of disapproval for the 5-hour drive =)
Mommy and Daddy were so excited for the trip!

Cincinnati Zoo-and Amaya's 1st train ride!

St. Mary's Basilica in Covington KY

Michael and Amaya in front of Jungle Jim's

Amaya's first trip was to Cincinnati.  Michael, Erica, and Amaya headed out Saturday morning for a 5-hour drive into Cincinnati.  Amaya traveled wonderfully (notice her hand as we pulled out of the driveway-she silently let mom and dad know how she felt about the 5-hour drive).  We made a pit-stop in Bowling Green and then drive the final 3 hours straight.

Why Cincinnati...well we had to see Jungle Jim's for ourselves.
What is Jungle Jim's...a grocery store =) If you know Michael, you know why we went here. They have 4100 hot sauces and Mangosteen-a fruit that Michael had as a child in Thailand.
--We also visited the zoo, the riverwalk, the Basilica, and the aquarium. Amaya had a busy, but wonderful trip!!!
