Grandma Emma Arrives!

Amaya is now 3 months!!! Wow! How has the time flown by! We have loved every minute of the past three months with Amaya. She has been and will continue to be our little pride and joy.  I always imagined how our lives would be changed, but I never expected I would tear up just looking at how beautiful she is...our lives have truly been changed.

She continues on her path to GREATNESS =) She is still rolling over and is getting to be a "pro." No more walking away from the changing table for "just a second."  She is also growing like crazy.  Michael and I weighed her today and she is between 14lb and 14.5lb (depending which of us you ask)...although she might say her diaper weighs a couple pounds =)

Michael's mom-Emma-flew in from Hawaii yesterday and of course Amaya is in love.  One more person here to spoil her (although she is missing Gpa, who has been gone for a week). We have been enjoying her time here, we traveled into Nashville to see Megan, Eric, and Panama...tonight she is teaching us how to make sushi!

Rolling...Rolling...Rolling

Amaya is so proud of her rolling abilities

Amaya's victory pose

Yeah!!! Amaya is officially rolling over! We all knew she was an overachiever. Today she is rolling over from back to front, and she did it on multiple occasions.  Mom, Dad, and Grandpa all got to capture her talent on camera. We are such proud parents-and grandparents =)

Good Mornings!

This is the beautiful smile that Michael and I wake up to each morning.  We are so very blessed! Amaya is a very happy little girl.  She wakes up each morning smiling and cooing-she is always excited for a new day. At 2 1/2 months, she is trying hard to roll over, she loves trying to sit up and then stand (with much assistance), she is blowing bubbles, and of course has us all wrapped around her little finger. I do have to say, she hates the car...we are hoping she will grow out of that sooner than later!

Mother's Day

My first Mother's Day was a very memorable one.  Poor Michael started off the day by running over our stroller...no worries...Amaya was NOT in it =) The stroller was not as damaged as one might think, but it defiantly is not usable...he was extremely pleased to find out that the company will replace all parts for FREE...go Bugaboo!

The rest of the day was wonderful! Michael, Amaya, and I met the rest of the clan in Nashville. We set up a picnic to enjoy at the Winery. This is the second year we all celebrated at the Arrington  Winery. Live music, wine, good weather, family...life doesn't get much better. I had a great time getting Amaya ready. She wore our favorite kitty outfit for the first time.  I can't take any credit, Michael bought it for her...she is definitely "Daddy's Girl."
