Amaya's second time to the pool was even more exciting than the first. She swam and splashed and had a fabulous time with her mom, nana, and gpa. Her daddy got in a workout while the rest of us relaxed in the pool. She LOVES splashing and kicking her legs...she is a natural-I guess there is a little California girl in her =)
5 Years of Wedded Bliss
After 5 years of marriage, we are still having fun!!! From Santa Barbara, CA to Clarksville, TN...so many wonderful moments in between. Michael and I had a wonderful dinner out on the town...we were home by 7:30pm =) What a wild couple we are!!! We had a great time reminiscing the years...not quite believing the time has gone so quickly. It still feels like yesterday we were partying with all of our family and friends on the beach!
Splashing in the Pool
At 5 1/2 months, Michael and I decided to finally get Amaya into the pool. She loved swimming around with momma. She kicked her legs and splashed her arms-she was not too sure about the water she was splashing in her face though =) Michael took the picture at the end of our swimming adventure-she was still loving the pool.
Foot in Her Mouth
Amaya is always sticking her foot in her mouth =) Teething, teething, teething... We have become very creative in helping her teething pains-be as pain free as possible. Her toes still seem to be her favorite chewing device though. The final days of my summer are now here. I head back Monday and still cannot believe the time has come. I know Amaya will have a blast bossing her daddy and grandpa around =)
Yeah! 5 Months!
Let's Party!
Amaya is 5 months today. It is so hard to believe that July is almost over. Amaya is rolling every which way and is now scooting forward and backward. She is such a joy-singing and dancing (in her jumper) are two of her favorite activities. I am getting ready to go back to teaching full time...it is a little bitter sweet. Amaya will have a great time at home with her daddy and grandpa. Michael will be headed back for his final semester of Nursing school-he will graduate in December. Who knows where the Army will take us-we are hoping Germany! We will keep you all posted.
Diana Krall Concert
Mom, Megan, and I enjoyed the Diana Krall concert at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville. Diana has been a favorite of mine for years. The concert was beautiful-it was so special to have time with mom and Megan.
